Today was the day i was to take on my nemesis over at Hen cloud. Woke up at the crack of dawn to a very wet and dull morning. Had a BIG bowl of porridge, made a strong flask of coffee, packed up my gear, rounded up the troops and commenced on our adventure.
Stopped at a garage mid journey for a bottle of lucazade.
Arrived at the roaches to a very slimy and wet rock face so we decided to have an easy morning mess about on some slimy boulders and let the sun dry out the rock.
Sods law 20 minuets after this decision the heavens opened. Good thing i packed my Mountian Equipment Kongor jacket!! 30mins later sky cleared up, no way the rock was drying now so we decided to risk a slippery wet route. After getting covered head to toe in green slime, drizzle started to fall, it was past midday by this point so there was no chance of the rock drying out. We admitted defeat drove home and went to the pub. After several hours in the pub (john smiths) i commenced my journey home. made myself a curry, checked my emails, wrote my blog and now getting ready for tomorrows days work.
